Due to delays driving onto Gibraltar, it is recommended that you park on the Spanish side and walk across the border, where there are frequent buses and taxis, to take you to the centre. Please note the Gibraltar Pound is the currency (same as UK Pounds), although most establishments accept Euros. Remember to take your passport

Puerto Banus - Well worth a visit. Here you will find many shops, bars and restaurants as well as some of the most desirable ‘gin palaces’ in the Med, or, why not just sit in one of the bars along the marina and celebrity spot.

Jerez - The sherry capital of the world with all the top Bodegas, most of which offer a tasting opportunity. Jerez dates back to Moorish times and possesses a charming old town, with it’s excellent Tapas bars and genteel boulevards and courtyards.

Cadiz - Europe’s oldest city, with it’s many atmospheric cobbled street and shady squares.

North Africa - There are regular sailings from Tarifa to Tangier

Casino - is approximately five minutes drive away.

Accessibility - The ground floor twin bedroom is accessible from the front entrance via one small step at the entrance to the house although the doorway to the bedroom and bathroom are probably insufficiently wide for wheelchair access. The lounge and terrace are all on the level and accessible through wide door openings.

Outside - Large L-shaped terrace overlooking the swimming pool, with al fresco dining area (8 settings), outdoor sofas, sun beds, parasol, gas barbecue and outside lighting. Attractive lawns and garden (the garden is not secure). The pool is unfenced, so care must be taken of young children. Private driveway at the front of the house with parking for several cars. There are also several communal pools on site for use by guests.

Coast/Beach - The attractive and chic marina of Sotogrande together with its beaches are a 5 minute drive away. The beaches of Alcaidesa are also are also a 5 minute drive away, and the windsurfing mecca of Tarifa is a 30 minute drive.

Golf - Sotogrande area is a golfer's paradise with, San Roque I and II, Le Canada, Almenara, Alcaidesa, Sotogrande, La Reserva, Duquesa and the world famous Valderrama all within easy reach.

Skiing - at Sierra Nevada is 2 hours 30 minutes drive.

Ferry to North Africa, 20 minutes away.
